Women's Business Resource Center
Opened in July, 2001 the Women’s Business Resource Center (WBRC) promotes small business development and provides educational training and resources relevant to aspiring and existing entrepreneurs. Funded by the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) the WBRC seeks to assist and empower entrepreneurs with information relevant to business creation, development and sustainability.
The Urban League Greater New Orleans Women’s Business Resource Center (WBRC) is committed to providing quality, comprehensive counseling and technical support for prospective and established business owners. The WBRC provides assistance at every stage of business development by offering an array of services to interested entrepreneurs:

- Marketing Plan
- One on One /On Site counseling
- Website Development
- QuickBooks training
- Entrepreneurial training classes
- Seminars/ Workshops
Particular attention is given to help entrepreneurs focus on developing and acquiring knowledge and resourceful tools in an effort to become successful business owners. The WBRC understands the barriers to entrepreneurship and seeks to help clients receive the proper advice and instruction that can build on their strengths and overcome their shortcomings.
